Our fully trained, background-checked, and insured staff is dedicated to making your home or office shine—whether it’s a sparkling kitchen, spotless bathrooms, or fresh, dust-free living spaces. We don’t just clean; we create healthier, more comfortable environments for families and businesses across Laurel, Prince George’s County, Anne Arundel County, Northern Virginia, Bethesda, Potomac, and surrounding Maryland communities.

From residential cleaning services for apartments, townhouses, and single-family homes to office housekeeping in Bethesda and Potomac and special event cleaning services, our policies are designed to provide smooth, consistent, and trustworthy service—while prioritizing your satisfaction, safety, and convenience.

✅ Service Guarantee

At Luciana Maid Services, your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not fully satisfied with the cleaning service provided, please contact us within 12 hours of the service being completed.

  • Do not attempt to re-clean or fix the issue before contacting us. We must be given the opportunity to return and resolve any concerns.

  • Refunds are not issued; our guarantee is based on the opportunity to make it right.

Communication is key, and we are committed to delivering reliable, high-quality results every time.


 Cancellation & Payment Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance.

  • Appointments canceled with less than 12 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee, automatically charged to the credit card on file.

  • All new customers must provide a valid credit card to confirm appointments.

  • Initial cleanings (deep cleans, move-in/out cleanings, or post-construction) may be billed hourly, while recurring house cleaning clients may qualify for customized flat-rate pricing.


 Arrival Time Policy

  • Clients will be provided with a time window for arrival.

  • While we strive to be punctual, delays due to traffic or prior appointments may occur. We will notify you if we are running more than 30 minutes early or late.

  • Services begin as early as 8:00 AM.


  Estimates & Pricing Policy

We do our best to provide accurate estimates by phone, but all quotes are subject to adjustment once our team inspects the home.

Factors that affect pricing include:

  • Home size and layout

  • Level of buildup, dust, or pet hair

  • Degree of clutter or disorganization

  • Time since the last professional cleaning

👉 To avoid surprises, please be transparent about:

  • Number of bedrooms/bathrooms

  • True condition of the home

  • Special concerns (e.g., heavy buildup, stains, pet issues)


 Preparing Your Home for Cleaning

To help us clean efficiently, we ask clients to:

  • Tidy up clutter so surfaces are accessible.

  • Clear sink areas (dishwashing is not included).

  • Clean up after pets (accidents or spills).

  • Provide paper towels and trash bags.

  • Leave out fresh linens if you’d like beds changed.

  • For move-out cleaning services, ensure the home is empty and trash removed.


🔑 Key & Entry Access

  • We encourage recurring clients to provide a key for convenience. Keys are securely stored in our office.

  • A $50 lockout fee applies if we are unable to access the property.

  • Lost keys will be reported immediately, and replacements covered by us.


🐾 Pets

We love pets! However:

  • Aggressive animals must be secured prior to our arrival.

  • If pets pose a safety risk, services may be limited.


 Safety & Health Precautions

By law and safety standards, our staff cannot:

  • Move/lift items over 30 lbs.

  • Clean human/animal waste, blood, or hazardous materials.

  • Use ladders taller than 2 steps or climb furniture.

Eco-friendly products are available upon request for safe green cleaning services.


Tipping Policy

Tipping is optional but appreciated. You may tip directly to cleaners, add to your check, or provide end-of-year bonuses (common for recurring clients).


 Property Damage & Liability

  • Staff are trained to handle belongings with care, but accidents may occur.

  • Damages must be reported within 24 hours of service.

  • We are licensed, insured, and bonded for your protection.

  • Please notify us of valuable items (collectibles, heirlooms) in advance, so our staff can avoid them.


 Holiday Schedule

We do not provide services on:

  • Christmas Day (Dec 25)

  • New Year’s Day (Jan 1)

  • Black Friday (Day after Thanksgiving)

Clients with recurring appointments on these dates should reschedule in advance.


 Non-Compete & Non-Solicitation Agreement

  1. Non-Compete: Clients and contractors may not directly or indirectly engage in cleaning services that compete with Luciana Cleaning Services for 24 months following their last service.

  2. Non-Solicitation: Clients may not hire, solicit, or contract cleaners introduced by Luciana Cleaning Services outside of the company.

  3. Penalty for Breach: A fee of $6,000 per customer lost applies for any violation.

  4. Legal Enforcement: Luciana Cleaning Services reserves the right to pursue legal remedies, including injunctive relief, in the event of a breach.


By booking with Luciana Maid Services, you agree to the above policies, ensuring professionalism, fairness, and the highest quality service every time.
